Custom Photographers Vs. Retail (chain) photography
I am often asked, “Why should I choose you (my services) over Sears, Walmart or JCPenney studios? Why are your prices set so high over their $7.99 specials?”
When you hire me (or any other photographer you choose), you get me (or the photographer you chose). When you go to one of the chains, you get whatever person that is hired that is more than likely another “finger” pusher.
While it’s that person’s job, it’s my passion, business and career.
Unlike the retail chain companies, a photographer normally gives you that One on One time, which is very much needed when it comes to kids or inexperienced clients. Custom photography can always be done outdoors or on location where obviously the retail giants cannot accommodate….
Often times people assume the prices of the retail giant are “cheaper” ($7.99 for the session) but there is a difference between “cheap” and inexpensive. When you add up the price for most photography portrait packages it may cost more but try asking the retail company for that same package and see what exuberant price they give you.
We basically all know the basic standard charge per pose, streamline in and out the shoot can be. Most photographers will take numerous poses which you will have options to print or have the digital files from. Five poses can easily turn into over $150 charge at the retail company, while to an actual photographer, poses are limitless because they are reaching for that GREAT SHOT, not a bottom line (or give you a reason to now shop once your kids see toys)…
Basically, if you want expertise, one on one attention, multiple poses, creativity and flexibility to shoot anywhere, a Custom Photographer is definitely for you.
I used to be recommended this web site by means of my cousin. I am now not positive whether or not this submit is written via him as nobody else recognise such specific about my trouble. You’re wonderful! Thank you!
